Overview

Trojan was a commercial PWR power reactor. It had a generating capacity of 1150 MWe and 3411 MWt. It operated from 1975 or 1976 to November 1992. Plant Decommissioning began in 1995 and the reactor removed in August 1999.

Internals Removal
We are unsure if there was any segmentation of the internals.

Reactor Vessel Removal
Shipped whole (called RVAIR = Reactor Vessel and Internals Removal Project). Some or all of the internals were inside the vessel. Shipped to Hanford LLW site.
